Wow, deja vu all over again! Good to see old friends, ADI and HSI, same as we had in the C-141 (similar heritage). I chuckled to my self when it was discussing take off, rotate, check VVI, when it reaches 500 ft/min raise gear. On my first flight I rotated, checked VVI for positive climb, not even looking for 500 ft/min, and before I could reach the gear lever, the Instructor had already put it up in order not to exceed 250 kt gear limitation. I thought, "holy cow, this is a fast plane"!
