Italeri 1/32 Dassault Mirage IIIC....

Saw some Israeli decals recently, but whichever boxing you get, it's worth it.

The Italeri kit is shown below, this example being a special anniversary release, with nine decal options, which again I got cheap off e-bay. But the basic kit is still 1970's ESCI !
Current releases are for two 'aces' boxings, each with four decal options, and retail at around £27 to £30 !!!

Surface detail is predominantly raised, with some engraved features. Cockpit is sparse, but has a seat, panel, with decals, tub and control column which, at the time of first release almost 40 years ago, was quite something.
Wheels, wheel bays and doors have some detail, there's a lot of under-wing stores, and the two-piece canopy is clear. Draw-back is the price - almost twice that of the HB kit, but I guess you're paying for the decals and artwork.

Here's a pic and a profile of two I'll be doing. The Argentinian example is the bottom profile. The third kit will probably have the two-tone blue fin, French markings, although I might go with a Belgian example, or a 'blue' French example.

Most excellent old boy....
Anyhoo....the more I read this and looked at the Hobby Boss kit, something was nagging me at the back of my mind and while sniffing around on ebay for the aforementioned kit, I thought.....I better check this out and lo and behold, after some digging....

You mean you already had the kit ??
Muppet !!!!

Let me check-out which colour schemes I'll use on my three kits, as I could possibly let you have the decals for that unit from the Italeri kit.
The profile below hasn't reproduced very well, but the proper colours of the tail flash can be seen on the decal sheet.
EDIT:- Forgot to add, if you haven't got any French roundels, I might have some spare, but I'd need to check my decals files.
