Some sub assembly work. The landing gear is nicely detailed. It seems a shame to cover it up with the wheel spats, though I notice in a lot of pictures parts of the spats are missing for what reason I'm not sure so I may leave portions of them off.
Engines and propellers. I initially planned to ad plug wires and more accurate looking push rod tubes but the engines in the kit are no where near as accurate as the real engines and modifying them times six just seemed like way too much work than was worth it.
All loaded up. The Stummel is packed full of lead. It was supposed to be nose weight for the Me 321 I built several years ago but proved no where near heavy enough. The amount of weight needed to not be a tail sitter would have been enough to crush the landing gear. Might work with the 323 ?? Doubt it some how !

Nice detail on the gear. You're gonna need some tie down chains and chocks...

Where does one purchase 1:72 scale chains ? I suppose I could hit the war department's jewelry box !
