Hi guys, I was just wondering if any italian pilots fought for the United States during ww2.Is there any evidence ? Did also other foreign pilots fought for the United States ? Thank you

After Italy's surrender there was the Italian co-belligerent air force

I have no idea if one or more individuals of Italian nationality managed to get into the United States forces before Italy surrendered.
I wouldn't be surprised one way or the other.

There were a number of American pilots with Italian heritage that made a name for themselves during the war like Gentile.
But I'm sure you are interested specifically in Italian nationals.
Mexico and Brazil did provide fighter units during the war but I have no idea on what level of dependece/independence from the from their American counterparts.
