If two aircraft are turning, and one can maintain a six G turn at 250 kts and the other must fly at 420 kts to maintain a six G turn, the slower aircraft will have the faster aircraft in his sights all day long.

One problem with a slower fighter in a turn fight is even if the Jet does a wider turn and the prop fighter is in the center, he's going to have to fire a longer distance shot since the Jet is going to be farther away in his turn.

The Jet may take a mile to turn, while the Prop may take just a couple of football fields to turn. That Jet is going to be a little speeding dot, so it would take most likely deflection shooting to bring it down, unless the Prop is lucky enough to start the turn on the Jet's tail, and fire right behind it.
