Not only does the Ki-27 keep up in terms of maximum speed, it's rate of climb and acceleration is completely superior to the BF-109C and to add to the fact that Ki-27 turns better than most biplanes….

How do the 109C and Ki-27 stack against the Hurricane I in 1937-38?

- In terms of rate of climb and acceleration the Ki-27 is superior

- In terms of turning capability, the Ki-27 is considerably superior

- In terms of speed… the Hurricane and Ki-27 are more or less on par up to 3000m altitude. Above 3000m, that's when Hurricane begins to achieve speed advantage

- In terms of firepower, the Hurricane is considerably superior

Very interesting comparison. But isn't the Bf-109C rpg supposed to be 2x 500 rpg for the cowl guns and 2x 420 rpg for the wing guns, so the total would be 1840 rounds?
