Jumo-213A: the initial operational use?

Hello, people,
I'm trying to find some good data about the initial service/combat use of the Jumo 213A engine (obviously, attached to the planes it was powering:) ). Pre-Fw190-D era, not when the Dora-9 arrived.
Any help is appreciated.
 
Junkers Engines - Jumo 213
66 produced during all of 1942. Obviously all prototypes.
495 produced during all of 1943.
.....Production exceeded 100 engines per month during June 1943. It's probably fair to call that the beginning of mass production (albeit on a small scale).
198 engines produced during Jan 1944. Rising to 995 during Jan 1945.

I suspect the Ju-88G night fighter had priority for Jumo 213 engines when they first entered mass production. That's why the Fw-190 couldn't have it until production averaged over 500 engines per month.
 
Maybe I remember it wrong, but wasn't the Jumo 213 engineered so it could use the same mounting points and the same accessories of the DB603? This way, engineers could exchange the two designs with only minor adjustements.

This also means that any plane designed to use the DB603 could use the Jumo 213 too and vice versa.
 
Just as a side note. It appears this seaplane was the LAST production aircraft in service to employ the Ju-213. This was on 100/130 octane fuel as well. I wonder if the French had a license to produce it or was it considered spoils?

it was in service from 1949 to 1958? 21 were produced most with the 213 engine. The engine page is from the "Wilkinson's Engines book cir 1949"

Indeed its quite a cute question it's pretty that such topic have been started yet! :)

So, in 1942 there were 66 JuMo 213 produced starting from Jul.42. If davebender consider them as prototipes, I desagree. It's too much for testing. Furthermore from sep.42 Junkers began to produce them no less then ten in a month. So it's actually a beginning of serial production.

Then from march 43 they were going no less then 1 per day, from june - 2 per day. So 495 engines were made during 1943!!!

The only their consumer seems was either Ju-88G or Ju-188.
So the question is then what quantity these aircrafts were started in serial production?

Would anyone have some detailed photos of the Jumo 213 engine, IE including internal photos as i have what i believe to be part of the a Jumo 213 i have a relic section that includes 2 cylinders camshaft(inc ignition plugs, valves conrod and 2 pistons etc.)
I was told this section could be part of the Stuka engine, but to me looks more like the Jumo 213, as the ignition plugs appear to be located inside the camshaft cover.
