Kaga "Vals" lost 7 December 1941-query

    Of the "Vals" of the "Kaga" lost 7 December 1941-who were the pilots and who were the aircrew?

    Hello Again, will check notes and see if I have the answers when I get home from work, but for now...
    Kaga had the highest losses of any of the 6 carriers in the PH attack, losing 6 Vals, 5 Kates and 4 Zeroes. for a total of 15, more than the other 5 carriers losses combined at 14 aircraft.

    Ah, beat me to it! good stuff fer-de-lance.
    In addition, only the first mentioned aircraft, that of Saburo Makino is known by code AII-250.
    There is also a photo of Makino's val taking off from Kaga, will find it for you, for now here is a profile.
