Desert would be stretching it a bit by 1945 / 46 - German forces long gone. However, a similar 'Welle' pattern in, say RLM 76 would look good, like on nightfighters ....................
It's a stretch but I'm kind of imagining a scenario where the Germans and Russians go toe to toe from either side of the Suez canal instead of Stalingrad, if that aint a stretch I don't know what is ! Still on the fence.
The end ! Cleaned up two kits in one I didn't think I would ever build. Kind of a new twist when you can throw any aspect of authenticity out the window. Might look into getting one of those Star Wars kits next.........maybe.
Thanks everyone, it was nice to have something different to pick away at over the last year. Next time some one offers me up a cheap kit I'll probably take it ! Fun build.
