Once again, London was the only Canadian stop on my shortened 2026 air show calander. For the first time in forever, the Snowbirds were not on the schedule and that left many regular London folks wondering if the change of date from September to August had anything to do with it. Air Show London has remained very tight lipped on this issue. Me personally, I was not bothered by the Snowbirds not being there having seen them a couple of hundred times over the last 50+ years. Lots of last minute cancellations added another level of frustration for fans who started buying tickets for this show in December of 2025. My four day yellow zone pass came in at just north of $700.00 which sounds like a lot of money, and it is, but it meant that four guys got four days of arrivals and shows which works out to just over $40.00 per day per guy, pretty standard admission fee in these parts. Sketchy weather on the Saturday and Sunday was just another layer of bad luck. What did show up put on some pretty decent flying.
