I was wondering if anyone had managed to get their hands on some detailed technical or artist drawings on the p-38 lightning and/or the f7f tigercat. I'm looking to do some 3d models and I need some good reference pics to go with.
Google images produces tons of photos, and I do have some basic drawings (3-view: front, side, top) but I kinda need something that shows off more detail.
This is purely for personal use; I plan to show off the models on my website as part of my portfolio.
If anyone can help me out or point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it!

heck, i thought I'd share a render from the last time I worked on my f7f. I'm redoing it - modeling it differently, adding a lot more detail - so the model you see in the pic below (which was an early render from that project) will basically look the same but will be much higher quality.
