Thanks for posting this. I used to work and fly out of the former Luftwaffe airfield in Ansbach. Many of the original buildings and hangars are still in use today.

Was nice to see what units were stationed there.

Nice contribution! I fought the MiG-29 guys at Rostock in early 2000's. Very cool base, and was equipped with Me-163s at one point. Or the guys I fought had been a 163 unit at some point. Old age...
