Hi every one ,
these two seats were found near Albi, South West of France.
many German aircraft flew there during WWII.

they do look like Luftwaffe A/C seats and I initially would have bet on Ju88 (KG76 was based in Toulouse : many Ju88 crashes around) but ......

I had the following comment from a friend who has a real know how:

"These seats are not from a Ju 88. In "your" seat fixing points of harnesses are missing. Also the shape of upper edge prevents using shoulder harnesses. It could from some older and smaller plane or could even be a passenger's seat. One strange thing is that the Mfr. Plate has Schmittner's own type number. If it is from a Luftwaffe aircraft there should be an aircraft manufacturer's part number."

what is your opinion ? what A/c could it come rom ? Ju52 ? else ?...
TIA
Gilles
