And bout the second one. I't's real! This airport lays at Philipsburg / St. Maarten Princess Juliana (SXM / TNCM) Netherlands Antilles.

Actually I think those look more intimidating from the ground. If you're in the aircraft staring down a 5000 foot runway on a two mile final, things looks a lot different.
