Magyar Kirdlyi Honved Legiero winter camo

Did Magyar Királyi Honvéd Légierő use white wash for winter camo on their aircraft ? Specifically the FW-190F-8s of 102 Regt. during the winter of 44/45. Also, what is the significance of the color of the aircraft ID number on the cowl? Some are white, some yellow. I thought it was to differentiate between 102/1 and 102/2 aircraft but both units seem to use both colors.

The numbers on the engine cowling were the repeated last two digits of the registration numbers that was given by the Hungarian AF when delivered to the Hungary and handed over by Germans. The numbers were white but not yellow rather and used by both squadrons. The yellow colour was used as the quick ID one and using it for the numbers doesn't seem to be correct. The same regarding the winter camouflage. All pics with the Hungarian Fw 190F from 1944/1945 I have seen don't show that camo type. Certainly I may be wrong ...

Thanks . Info on the yellow cowl numbers is good to know . (I was leaning towards one of the yellow numbered ones for a little splash of color.) As for the white wash ..... with my less than exhaustive research... I had found only 1 (possible) Hungarian aircraft with white wash .... an FW-57 . And that may be mid 30s green/ brown/ grey camo. I have an FW-190A-3 Jabo, A-8 in RLM74/75 in the Wulf pack. Was hoping for a little white wash to break the monotony.

I grasped. Always you may make a F-8 in the I./SG2 livery used in the Hungary in the winter 1944/45 ...
