I've been doing some digging regarding Me 410 units, and have found fairly solid information from up until mid to late 1944. Past that, I've only really been able to verify Aufkl.Gr.121 and 122, Seenotstaffel 80, and 11./ZG26 (in Norway) as operating the type until the formal German surrender.
There were an alarmingly large number of zerstörergeschwaders being folded into fighter wings in 1944, I noticed. Was this because of attrition/the general shift to defensive operations at that time? Does anyone have information on which units flew 410s until surrender? I have come across suggestions that at least two night-fighter wings flew the type, as well as mention of "elements" of KG51 converting from 410s to 262s, but no word of the geschwader on the whole.
