Still using my Xuron Sprue cutters I bought at the end of the last century. At $59USD I think I'll use them a bit longer. Does make a nice cut though...

59 bucks for cutting sprue is crazy. Probably still have to file anyway.

Probably because the Meng site uses Adobe Flash. By default, all modern browsers will block Flash as it's a bug-ridden heap of junk and full of security holes. I guess Kaspersky is just adding in its two cents worth.

Many thanks for the information. Hate to admit, but I didn't realize there were 'specialized' cutters! I'm always cussing at the cuts and the damage when I use my wire ones. Now I know why. Although I did not spring for the Meng (yet!), I did order a set of Xuron 410's.
