Actually i had the same question here as Tomo.
I found this thread while searching for my answer, but couldn't find it in other posts, so let's dig out Micheal Jackson and play thriller
So:
From When was the M45 allowed for 12 Boost and from when was it allowed for 16 Boost?
Some RaF docs as reference would be nice actually, as taking into account the dates of the reports of tests doesn't mean squat.
(Not Mr William's site is bad or wrong , on the contrary, but it doesn't answer the question above).
And it's not because the M-XX or Miii were allowed for 12 boost that the M45 was automatically allowed for it
(Can give the analogy with the B16 series Honda enginse as examples, but i think everyone understand what i mean by this )
And just because we seems to have a very knowledgeable Racing Engine engineer on the forum (won't give names ), i was hoping he could help to sort it out once and for all.
