The Messerschmitt Me 329 is quite unorthodox in having piston engines buried in the wings driving pusher propellers. The Me 265 heavy fighter (see Messerschmitt Me 265 Luft '46 entry) was similar in layout to the Me 329 but differed in that it was to be a pure heavy fighter like the Me 210.
