The MiG-15 was not derived from the Ta 183. There's no need to repeat this well-known myth here.Although Mig-15 was derived from Huckebein...
But it was derived from what jet now ?The MiG-15 was not derived from the Ta 183. There's no need to repeat this well-known myth here.

I thought so too...it was Mig-9 that used reverse engineered BMW 003s.I thought it was a reverse engineered RR Nene centrifugal engine !
Original development (except for the engine). Some elements from the MiG-9 and I-270.But it was derived from what jet now ?
Doesn't it matter to you that the MiG-15's maiden flight took place nine month earlier?Saab 29 Tunnan

No because Tunnan was started in 1945.Original development (except for the engine). Some elements from the MiG-9 and I-270.

In 1946.No because Tunnan was started in 1945.
The USSR conducted its own research into swept-wing designs, for which it had the necessary facilities (wind tunnels), and several experimental gliders and aircraft were built. Undoubtedly, the results of German research could have been utilized, though to what extent is difficult to say; personally, I believe it was very limited.Where do you think they got the swept wings on it ?
The I-270 was used to test high-mounted tailplanes and to refine a two-part fuselage design with a mid-section joint for easier engine maintenance.I-270 was nothing like it.
Design work on the IAe-27a Pulqui II began after the MiG-15 had already made its first flight. What's your take on the suggestion of development being influenced by the Pulqui II (itself a HeS 011/Ta 183 derivative)?
Yup....and is nothing like Ta-183....which was not Kurt tank design in the first place ( Hans Multhopp )...it ( Pulqui 2 ) was ugly as ****. Surely Tank was over seeing the design.Design work on the IAe-27a Pulqui II began after the MiG-15 had already made its first flight.

From what I've read on other sites, the issue with the Pulqui II was that Hans Multhopp didn't leave for Argentina with the rest of the Focke-Wulf staff. He was apparently the most knowledgeable on how to work the wing set up around a central air intake+engine. Without him, the higher risk shoulder mounted wing set up was chosen, and this lead to stability issues.Yup....and is nothing like Ta-183....which was not Kurt tank design in the first place ( Hans Multhopp )...it ( Pulqui 2 ) was ugly as ****.
