It is the first and oldest kit for the Corsair variant released by the Academy Minicrfat in 1997. For sure, nothing in common with the nice Hasegawa kit. See here ...
Beware of any of the Academy/Minicraft Corsair kits, hard to tell from looking at pictures of the kit parts (although you can tell by looking at the canopy in the video) the fuselage is way too wide at the mid point, therefore the canopy appear bulbous, take a close look at the windshield in the video, then look at the Tamiya or hasegawa one to see just how badly misshaped they are.

I have IDEA copies of the Monogram 1/48 F4U-4 and Monogram 1/48 Ju87G. In both cases the kits seemed to be exact copies of the Monogram, down to interchangeable parts. But the clear canopies are a mess. I think that they used a laser scanner to create duplicate molds but that did not work with the clear parts. They should have painted the Monogram clear parts opaque before the scanning but apparently did not think to do that.
