Montgomery County Texas Historical War Memorial Park.

The county moved the memorial park a couple of years back. I had a little down time so I finally stopped by. There is a list by conflict of those that did not return. There is also almost of all the vets in the county if they wish to be listed.Nice place.

When I see these things, I make sure to stop and read the names. Spent a long time at the Pearl Harbor memorial.

The bridge. Dedication marker and WASP memorial.the blades of the prop has names of local WASPs. There are chimes above the prop and around the bridge. They sound good.

The new memorial was build along a retaining pond next to the library. Between the two is the Texas flag park. The state flag was designed in Montgomery Texas, about 30 minutes from the park.
