Welcome to the 2008 NAS Oceana Air Show

The men and women of Naval Air Station Oceana are proud to present something special in the history of this Master Jet Base and the U.S. Navy, the 50th NAS Oceana Air Show. Our first event was in 1953 and featured the U.S. Navy Blue Angels flying the F9F-5 Panther. Since then, NAS Oceana has hosted an air show every year except 1956, 1959, 1961, 1967 and 2001, developing this hallmark public event into the awesome spectacle that it is today. It truly is "A Legacy of Excellence". You can be rest assured that the Golden Anniversary Oceana Air Show will be something you will not want to miss. Our guests will thrill at stunning performances by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, Mike Goulian, Patty Wagstaff, John Mohr, Manfred Radius, Bill Leff, the GEICO Skytypers and more. The skies will be filled with thunder from F/A-18 Hornets and Super Hornets, the E-2C Hawkeye, the F-22 Raptor, a large-formation "Fleet Flyby" and the dramatic Air Power Demonstration. The U.S. Navy Leap Frogs and the British Red Devils will team up to perform their heat-stopping parachute jumps and the Shockwave Jet Truck will fill the air field with smoke and flames. Check back often as we update our Performer and Static Display pages and don't forget to read the Security Information page before coming to the show. We look forward to providing you with a fantastic show the whole family can enjoy!
