Is it too good to be true...
Personally, I'm always sceptical when I hear about the "game-changer" in the transportation world. In the maritime sector, where I began my career, there were so many attempts in the post-WWII period to introduce new propulsion, a new type of hulls, autonomous or remote-controlled systems, etc. Still only the Containerisation of the great Malcolm Mclean can be considered as a "revolution". Other improvements were evolutionary and gradual.
Still, it would be exciting to see something new in the air freight world and I hope that Natilus would succeed.

Over 30 years ago Dean Ing predicted we would build Delta Dirgibles, rigid airships in a shape similar to that one, that would use both LTA and lift off the airframe. They would have the ability to haul a lot of freight and also VTOL over parking lots. This would remove a lot of big trucks from the roads. I have been hoping that, especially when I'm trying to go somewhere and there is an 18 wheeler or six spread eagled across the highway, with no hope of getting the obstructions moved for 12 hours or so..

every real progress in aviation is coming out of the propulsion - period. airframe changes alone are unable to generate cost saving/ efficiency increase which may have noticeable influence here
