My name is Henk Menger, 72yo and living in the Netherlands. My hobby is building, scale 1:32, model planes. I install in al my projects an ATMEGA328P microprocessor the control the nav lights, canopy open/closing and more other things (I was an DEC field service engineer for many years). My question is " can anyone tell me which lights the Me-262 hat. The navigation lights, are they steady or blinking, if so what was the frequency. I'm interested in all ww2 planes navigation lights information. Kind regards, Henk

Hi welcome.

Welcome to the site.

IIRC the Me 262 had the three nav lights installed. The red one on the port wing tip and the green one on the starboard wing tip. The white light was mounted at the bottom tip of the rudder. And here a note ... contrary to the prototypes and the production aircraft, the pre-production S series and very early A1a had the tail light covered with the large lampshade. See the pic below. If the lights were the steady or blinking .. for sure the steady type. But if could blink , there is no info found.
