Need Help with Army Records

A buddy of mine is asking me for help in trying to find more info about his dad. I thought there might be some on here who could help or at least steer him in the right direction. Here is what he sent me....

Coleman Leo Burns,
pvt 1st class,
363rd medical battalion,
A company w/ 63rd infantry,"Blood and Fire".
They were at the Siegfried Line and Dresden.The internet hasn't been much help,alot of info on B,C,and D companies but nothing about A.

A good place to begin would be to fill out a Standard Form 180 which can be obtained at Form: SF180 This will give your friend his father's personnel records, medical records, any decorations and qualification badges earned and assignments, not to mention his father's DD214. Feel free to pm me if I can help. Im a chapter service officer with Disabled American Veterans and I do this sort of thing for veterans and their survivors.
