Well, that's weird. I understand the confusion now. I though I had posted something right after your first one but I guess I did not save it. Basically, I was saying that I would post the question over at LEMB and, being a bit of a dick, I pointed out the typo where you said JG 52 on your text but, correctly, JG 51 in your title.

Peter Evans, who hosts LEMB replied saying "Other than a photo of his Bf109F-2, WNr.3678 coded "Yellow 5" of 4./JG51 in "JG51, volume 2" by M.Murawski [Kagero, 2009] I've not found any sign of his mount from late-1944... still on the hunt though... "

oops! guess I hit 2 instead of 1, sorry about that.

yeah, I have both Vol. 1 2 of JG 51.. nothing in there. hopefully something shows up on the
other board and/or here.

" Bf 109F-2. W.Nr. 3678 'White 5' of 4./JG 51 ( in the foreground) flown by Ofw. Otto Schulz "

yes I seen that one. but its not the one he flew in Dec. 1944 when he commanded II./JG 51. thanks.

An additional note here. In Militaria Fakty no.51 magazine by Ajaks I have found the the Bf109 Werk Nr. 130297 ( showed in the first profile ) was Bf109G-10/R3 but not the K-4 kite. The aircraft belonged to 10./JG51 and was flown by Fw. Horst Petzschler mostly.

I appreciate the post/pictures/link, forgive me but I fail to see how this pertains to Otto Schultz's Bf 109 that he flew in Dec/44
whilst commanding II./JG51.

No problem. If he used the G-10 during that time, so nothing new appeared to the camo appearance of the aircraft, Oh.. it might have looked less worn out.

ahh I see. thanks you.

there was a blurb mentioned in one website which for the life of me I can't find now lol.
" WNF built Bf 109G-14/U4AM " W.Nr. somewhere between 511000-512700.

whoops! seems I made a major mistake. the Bf I was thinking of/looking for was actually Bf 109 G-14 WNr 780887 Black "- << +" of Hauptmann Karl Rammelt. II.JG 51, Dec/44.
I appologize for my error.
