Hello, everyone. I have a question. Which side did they rearm the guns on the P-38, to the right of the cockpit or the left?

This photo shows the right side.

But would it open both sides as well? I'm trying to make Dick Bongs fighter, and his gal is on the left side, and if the left opens then the decal may fit on so well, but maybe I shouldn't be asking if I look at the photo, because it's on the right side, and that's all right, because it's the side on the right! :p

Lets see.

4 .50 cals sticking out the nose.

We can see 2 x ammo cans on this side.

Which would mean there must be 2 x cans on the other side.

Yes they opened both sides.

(Seen the photos somewhere.)

Okay, so they load the two left-hand 50's on the left, and the two righty's on the right; where do they load the 20mm? The center? I don't see the 20mm ammo drum in the picture above, but I do have a picture at home of some armorers loading the 20mm shells; I'll try post it here.

MISTERS ,

DO YOU HAVE THE WEAPONS USED IN P-38 IN LARGE PHOTOS ? ONLY THE WEAPONS ?
