"A Curtiss P-40E Warhawk crashed in a field, shortly after takeoff from Ravelli County Airport (KHRF), Hamilton, Montana.
The pilot died and the aircraft received substantial damage.
The original AK753-Kittyhawk I lost in accident with Soviet AF Jun 30, 1942. Its *NOT* ex RCAF; fake "AK753" (rebuilt in 1992 with parts of other aircraft and fake "c/n 15134" changed to new c/n AK75315134)"

Preliminary investigation reveals that the oil tank drain plug was not found in the wreckage. It probably fell out early in the takeoff roll and the engine quit due to oil starvation.
