Hi, I´ve been looking for information about this two tiny lights (I guess)
I know that the big circle is a red light but don´t know if the two small circles are lights too, nor the colour of them.
I don´t have plans of the P-40B and don´t know if the light were there as in the C model.
By the way, what is the stuff inside the red circle? An antenna?
I´ll very appreciate any information about this items.

Regards.

IIRC the P-40B/C didn't have the recognition lights. These were introduced with P-40E. The RAF used a white upper light on the fuselage after the canopy and the amber one under the right rear wing fillet. The first 800 P40E-1s had the RAF type system only. The US Army/USAAF ( introduced with the L variant ) used the white upper light on the fuselage behind the canopy and the red light under the rear keel fairing. The green and amber were under the rear fuselage and mounted with a small offset to the fuselage centerline. The part of the USAAF P40Es had no lights, as didn't the first 400 P40N-1s.

The stuff inside the red circle is the hydrauling system vent ( the hydraulic tank vent) and drain.
