Think that writer and member @drgondog will think quite different about that as do I also

Suggest you search for his name here and be suprised.

Schnautzer01 ...

Forgive me but I'm seeing this on 12-25-2024 so I'm not sure what my friend Bill Marshall's book has to do in this thread.

I'm not sure what, exactly, is/was supposed to "surprise" me.

As far as Bill's P-51B book (and I'm not bragging, but stating a fact): if you own the book, take another look and you'll see my name a couple times in the front of the book where Bill has "Acknowledgements." I bore you with that fact only so you'll know that I'm at least a little "up" on my Mustangology (I've been a fan of the Mustang going back to about 1955 or so, when I was in elementary school. I continue to this VERY day, "gobbling-up" everything factual that I can find on all of the WWII Mustangs. I've learned a LOT from Bill going back > 5 yrs.

This might be an "old convo," but I'm not sure that I've ever seen your remark before...my bad.

We're all looking forward to Bill's new book, which I hope we'll see "on the shelves" early next year.

Cheers!

Tom

Thats because without introducing yourself it very much looks like a troll remark.
Of wich we have had here.

But now that is out of the way, good to see you around here.
Hope you enjoyed my eBay findings on the subject of this aircraft.
