Going through my masking drawing in preparation for shooting pink on the P-39 tail I found a roll of Parafilm. Does anyone still use this? I can't even recall when I bought it; decades ago probably. I could never quite get the hang of masking with it

I can only recall tutorials in Fine Scale Modeller Magazines back in the 90's but using it all but disappeared since then. Unfortunately I trashed all my FSM mags a few years ago

I tried it once way back when on a Typhoon bubble canopy and was not crazy about it and never tried it again. Still have it in a workbench drawer so might try it again

I have it and I'm in the same boat as you. Tried to use it, didn't get the hang of it and it's sitting (aging) in my tapes and masking drawer.

Been using it for maybe 20 years, for all my NMF, and most of my others, many of which are pointed to in links of a lot of my 1/72 a/c builds, which were posted on this site under my username. I would be happy to try and answer questions, but a look at the build threads, all posted on britmodeler.com should help a lot.
