I have a mast antenna in a box that came from a barn in Italy. It has all of the stamps and parts numbers etc. and I am trying to find out what airplane came from. It says "AN 74A" and "File no. 5884 WF SCPD-43 " in large block letters. It supposedly came with the 382nd air group. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

AN-74 is an earlier version of AN-104 (same antenna, different mount), which was used with the SCR-522 VHF 100-155 MHz Command Radio.
Information on AN-74, AN-104 and SCR-522 is available via Google.
