How many noticed the apparent bullet hole in the right windshield of the Walrus, but must have been caused by the recovery crewman missing his grasp of the recovery hook during a previous flight. Was he required to pay for a new glass?
Missed it.

Nice tour of the Lanc, but a number of errors in the commentary. Note also this is a late model Lanc, with some fittings not seen on operational WW2 aircraft.

Yup, it's a Lancaster MR.VII supplied to the Aeronavale, formerly NX622. Its at Bull Creek, near Perth, Western Australia.

In the very top clip, Phantom Pilot, at 2:12 is the English Electric P.1A prototype, which was placed outside the parade ground at RAF Henlow in 1966. It's now at RAFM Cosford.

EE P.1

At the time the clip was filmed, Henlow was a repository for historic aeroplanes to be put in the recently opened RAF Museum at Hendon, which first opened its doors in 1972. I think the P.1A went there for a bit before Cosford became "The Aerospace Museum".
