IMHO the information about the crash site is incorrect. Ettenheim is a town in Germany, east of the Rhine river. AFAIK this a/c, MACR 13375, crash landed near Altenheim.A B-17G Flying Fortress of the 390th BG crash landed near Ettenheim France. Jan 20 1945. S/N 44-8151 The German civilians seem to be having a good time looking at it.
