Did you know that the engine of the Hound Dog Missile the J52 (along with the A-6 and A-4) was the basis for the JT8D engine that went on to power among other planes the 727, 737, & DC-9 airliners?
Got a couple of odd ones for you here gents - located at a fantastic small museum which is local to me. A rasher of bacon to the first to correctly identify both types (local Brits, shhh!)
We like our hams and bacon here too you know (rind on, unsmoked bacon for my preference - served in between two thick slices of flowery bread and butter with a splash of balsamic vinegar....)

Local to me too: lovely museum but I wish they had more space around the aircraft (especially the P.1 and 707!!). And yes I know that would mean fewer exhibits: maybe push a few outside on sunny days?
