Al Casby is owner of the airworthy F7U restoration project and Tommy is a very knowledgeable aviation historian: between them they know more about the F7U than anyone and have done a great deal of research into primary sources.

Always liked the lines of the Curtlass, Too bad it had such a poor shout carree. Better engines would have likely made the day but it was a time of growth and innovation.
La-15, so much like the Mig-15, if it wasn't for that higher mounted wing, you'd never know.
Smaller and lighter than the Mig-15, with a less powerful engine.
