Some rare footage of the late war Japanese army twin-engine bomber the Mitsubishi Ki-67 "Hiryū" (known by the allies as Peggy) operating out of Clark Field in the Philippines in late 1944.
These Ki-67 bombers which appear in this footage are quite interesting, they belonged to Fugaku special attack unit as indicated by the mountain symbol on the tail. This was dedicated kamikaze unit that arrived in the Philippines in October of 1944.
Also to note is that these Ki-67s are actually specially converted and are in the To-Gō kamikaze variant, which reduced crew number to just 3 and removed its defensive turrets. Its glass canopy nose was covered and elongated to allow for an HE charge to be placed with an extended fuse in the form of a rod protruding from the tip of the nose, this fuse would detonate its main payload of two 800 kg (1,760 lb) bombs in the belly compartment which can be seen in this footage at the 1:06 marker
