Hello Everyone,
I'm new here, so please forgive me if I'm doing things the wrong way!
I've recently got hold of yet another P8 compass, but this one has a strange mounting. I'll attach a picture or two here, I hope. It's an RCAF compass, with the two N/S lines only (so pre-mid 1941), and the corrector is on a hinged flap. Does anyone have any idea what this mounting might be from? I'd be delighted to know. I've checked through a list of wartime RCAF aircraft, and not found anything that looks right. All the pictures I've seen have the tray type, used on just about everything.
All help and guidance will be much appreciated! Thanks!
