Warbird Mafia

the past few years, four to be exact, I have been fiercely working to make my footprint in the warbird movement. one hundred percent volunteering as I still have a full-time day job. it's been tough, balancing work, my family (daughter, my partner, dog and 3 cats) and my passion for warbirds and military history. the reward has been tremendous, however I started getting a little tired come fall 2021. I sat at my computer and felt " was I out of ideas" or that "am I burnt out?". I found my answer in continuing my research by diving deep into personal accounts of air war through literature. it was only then I realized I've always known why I do it, it's the reason that tear will stream down my face. the pictures I attached is an idea in hopes to continue getting photos and names of the fellas that paid the ultimate sacrifice, so that I can pair their picture with their aircraft. it's a daunting task, as in the 8th AF alone roughly 28,000 lives were lost. thanks for reading and I'm always looking for suggestions and criticism.

Great job, mate.

I have tried to do same thing for the Fallen Iranian Pilots during Iran - Iraq war (1980-88), but the regime disliked that idea (or, to be honest, how I did it) and I was threated to death by some brainwashed traitors (aka Basij / IRGC members).

For years, even talking about existence of Army (Artesh) during so called "Holy defence" thing was enough to be killed.

I respect for all those who have lost their lives, throughout countless wars in history, regardless of their nationality, rank, religion, political views and ...

May their souls rest in eternal peace.
