The decal sheet says its a "D" but the serial number says its an "L". The nice thing about Eduard P-39 kits is you can build almost any variant out of one box. I've got two shots of what is needed for each variant

Long been overlooked by history. It get a drop note at Guadalcanal and some other backwater theaters like Alaska but in the right hands and at the correct altitude it was formable (formidable), there that's my story and I'm sticking with it.

I don't know if the right hands were also the Italian ones, but it was also used here

The Eduard kit it is very good
