Renard R36/37/38/40

A series of prototype fighter aircraft developed in Belgium just before World War II. Possible interesting "what could've been" as with so many other projects that happened at about the same time. The aircraft differed primarily in the engine the used:

R36: Hispano-Suiza 12Y
R37: Gnome-Rhone 14K
R38: Rolls-Royce Merlin
R40: Pressurized cockpit with Merlin
R42: Twinned R38/40 design
