The YouTube Channel Rex's Hanger has put out two decent videos on the history of the Vickers Wellington Bomber. Well worth the watch. I found the develop & operational history of the DWI Mark I & II minesweeping variants in part 2 interesting.

Does anybody have data on what it cost to manufacture British aircraft? The Wellington's geodetic construction was considered too expensive for civilian use, and they wound up making over 11,000 of them. There must have been some interesting tooling. Spitfires and Mosquitos are interesting too.
