I wish these would get more credit. They had advanced features like 4 valves a cylinder and DOHC. If only they had had as much development work as the Merlin/Griffon...
The little 1.3 litre car engines by them were making silly figures, like 300+ bhp.
For a 27 litre engine, I think 6,000+ bhp would be easy...
Anyone got any info on these aero engines and what they were used in? I can't seem to find my book.
