RLM for winter scheme FW 190.

Building my second 1/4 scale FW 190 kit. Would like to do one of the schemes pictured below. Favoring the white with squiggly lines. Is the base white an actual white, or more light gray?

Pretty sure they were regular schemes painted over, might have to do that, but the idea of a base white, then filling in sounds like much more fun.... Google searching has not given me a clear answer. Thanks

White was sprayed over the 74/75 camo scheme. I'd go with an off-white colour

With Geo. The white was a washable paint and was not only sprayed on. It could be brushed or even mopped on and would heavily weather over time

Imaine that, according to original documents, white washable paint for winter conversion could be applied even with a broom!

Painted an Avro Vulcan once, stood on the wing with a roller on the end of a broomstick! It's a lot of wing to paint! Probably was the last time this one was painted!
