I see. The RLM 71 could have a couple of tones. Even the German RLM instructions with the colour samples show them of slightly different tinges. Below an excerption from 1941 instruction. The discription of the colour says that it was a dark green with the olive tinge. Unfortunately many paint manufacturers offer their own variants in the tinge of the colour. Not always correct but always called the orginal.
However the final effect of applying depends on the background colour, using of the primer or not and thickness of the paint layer, etc ... Therefore I would follow the chips from the instruction rather than following the manufacturer's assurance.
