Bang on, Mr. Phillips!

Can't believe that RJ Mitchell hasn't been given his due, before now. Thing is, though, he's not here and the Spitfire having been given more than its due, should be recognition enough of a great piece of aircraft design and engineering.

I love the Spit, but, still, the Hurricane wasn't exactly a slug and without its own due.

I note from the pictures of the unpaneled tail surfaces, the intricacies of the skeleton weld-ups. Very complex and precise.
