Siebel fh 104 wheels? (1 Viewer)

Hello,
does anybody know from which airplane this wheels come? There are similar to Si 104, tyre dimension is same. I found, that this airpalne had 2 types of landing gear, but i don´t have detail photo of wheels...

It looks like the orginal tyre for the Si-104 was of the 580x165 size ... your is of 650x180.

That wheel has been crudely modified for agricultural use, with six large holes drilled for studs, the steel brake lining removed and the attachment studs cut off and peened.

I agree. What is more, the tyre looks like a retreaded tyre. IMHO the top thread was added to the orginal German tyre of 650x180 size quite popular for many german planes. The traces of sanding down at the area for adding of the tyre thread can be still noticed.

Yes, the retread is very poor, but I guess it was worth it in post-war Europe.

and here the 580x165 ... so now all is clear. The landing gear with the single leg had the larger size wheels while the one with the double oleos had the smaller ones.

Thank you all for your help, especially for one leg- landing gear photo. Yes, it was modificated after war, I rescued them before scrapping. I am from Czech republic and there was many german stuff after war, so many people used them for civilian used.
