Thanks for your patience and help mate,
I was hoping to find an image of the click in a Hudson or Beaufort but they seem to have a different click all together, coastal command does make sense though.
The same chap tells me they were used in photo reconnaissance spitfires and he's restoring one and using the same clock, I just though as the only images I could find were in a Blenheim different aircraft I thought that was closer, keep me posted if a photo does appear if the clock in any ww2 aircraft, you've both been very helpful and taught me a lot and it's been a lot of fun learning.

My friend sent me this from "An Illustrated guide to British Aircraft Equipment 1939 – 1945, Vol 1 Aircraft Instruments (Air Ministry Stores Ref. 6A)" by Alan Hulme. I searched on line for a full copy but could find no links to the full document.

I did find a copy of vol 4 on Ebay but it had sold on Oct 17.
