I fully understand the issue on price, but With Tamiya you do get what you pay for. You can get P-38 in 1/48th from several sources but you will likly pay as much or more it bring it up to the standardLike many others...underwhelmed. I've not seen the pricing yet but I would assume $$$? If, which has become their norm, ride your reputation coattails and charge a bunch. It will most likely be priced such that for me it will need to build itself!
A new set of decals and harness will be needed for the Tamiya kit. From what I've seen (with a big delay) I totally agree with you. That's the only new thing Tamiya can offer (to me):Where's the otter? I WANT THE OTTER!
